Our special half-timbered house offers cozy country house charm with open wooden beams, a fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy sunny hours on the Mediterranean terrace. For families: trampoline, sandbox, and toys await in the garden. Forest playground just a 2-minute walk away. Right by the pine forest, the perfect place for nature lovers. Centrally located between Hamburg, Lüneburg, and the Lüneburg Heath. Ideal for day trips such as hiking, cycling, canoeing, barefoot park, Heide Park, and much more. The Accommodation Welcome to Garstedt on the edge of the beautiful Lüneburg Heath, just 30 minutes from Hamburg and Lüneburg. We bought this half-timbered house in 2018 and turned it into our home with a lot of love. As we are relocating our main residence to Florida, USA, for professional reasons starting in 2026, we are excited to open our home to families and those seeking tranquility. Your hosts on-site: To ensure you are well taken care of during your stay, we have entrusted the management to professional hands. Mirco and Swantje are your main hosts and direct contacts on-site. They take care of all organizational details, the check-in, and are available for any questions at any time. Highlights: Large open living area with dining room, kitchen, and living room including a fireplace with direct access to the garden and terrace. The kitchen was newly installed in 2025 and has everything necessary. The wooden ceilings and our nature-inspired decor create a very cozy atmosphere. In winter, it’s wonderfully snug thanks to the fireplace. In summer, it remains pleasantly cool due to excellent insulation and cool tiles. The lower floor features the living area with access to the terrace and garden, with an open kitchen and adjoining dining room. From the hallway, there is a guest bathroom with a bathtub, as well as a small bedroom. You can access the upper floor via the stairs, which has two spacious bedrooms and the main bathroom with a shower.
